How It Began

The Dream Started
in Dubai

The dream of Amirah Charity Foundation began over 15 years ago while our founder was living and working in Dubai. Far from home, the memories of Uganda's struggling communities never faded.

Witnessing the contrast between abundance and need, our founder made a commitment: to return and build something that would give hope to those left behind — children without school fees, families without food, elders without care.

Today, Amirah Charity Foundation Uganda operates four core programs that have touched over 2,200 lives. We are still growing, still dreaming, and still believing that every person deserves dignity.

Our Mission

To push boundaries, break barriers, and inspire greatness by providing sustainable support to Uganda's most vulnerable communities — through education, food, elderly care, and family empowerment programs.

Our Vision

A Uganda where every child has access to education, every family has food on the table, every elder is cared for with dignity, and every community has the tools to thrive independently.

What Guides Us

Our Core
Values

Integrity

Transparency and accountability guide every decision we make and every shilling we spend.
